I have been a creative person for all of my life. My grandmother always made sure that I had plenty of art supplies around the house to satisfy my busy little hands. Art quickly became my passion and it still is.
I believe photography is the art of discovery. It is the art of finding that special image from a world of shapes, forms, textures, colors, and lighting. My photographs celebrate the splendor and variety of life, and try to convey to the viewer, in a visually beautiful form, the emotions of existence. I believe the best photographs are those that come during natural experiences. I try to find the essence, very much like the poet does with words. It is my task to isolate the moment, to capture that essence when I snap the shutter.
